It's amusing to see that last year's recap ended with us having an offer accepted. After a drawn-out purchase we finally moved back to Sheffield in June. We have yet to properly settle in due to major damp-proofing work but love the Storrs area and are very excited to finally unpack in the next couple of weeks. We spent some lovely evenings over the summer getting the field under control and hope to do some dry stone wall repair and planting in the New Year.
Henry is 15 months old now and turning into a delightful little boy. He opted to skip crawling and is now toddling from filthy dog bowl, to hot oven, to stairs at great speed. He has started to say the odd word and had a great time making friends at Oxford Dance Camp in the sweltering heat. And he has a sister on the way! Due at the end of March. We can't wait to meet her. Sam is still enjoying his job at Sendwave and will be taking a few months off thanks to their generous parental leave.
