Merry Christmas! ππ
πΌβοΈ
Inspired by our good friends Rich and KJ, we thought the first year we can really call ourselves a family was a good time to start sending out a bit of a Christmas recap. Writing this has been a lovely reminder of everything we are thankful for. Thank you for being part of an, often hard, sometimes weird, but altogether wonderful and transformative year for us.
2021 brought:
- π€° Sharing the exciting news of Em being pregnant with family and friends.
- π₯ Em putting her permaculture learning into practice in our garden.
- π± Sam starting a new (remote) job at Sendwave.
- π€ Camping and messing around on a lake in Witney with friends.
- π°π»ββοΈ A relaxing stay in Derbyshire for the miraculously scheduled wedding of Ryan & Leanne.
- πΊ Em trying her hand at embroidery, calligraphy and pottery.
- π² Sam attempting board game design and some slightly more adventurous cooking.
- βΊοΈ A wonderfully weird Oxford Dance Camp, ending inβ¦
- πΆ The arrival of our son Henry (2.8kg) on August 15th!
- πβπ¦Ί Meg having a tumour removed and reluctantly getting used to a little less attention from us.
- π₯ Sam spending a few nights in hospital for an emergency appendectomy.
- π Having an offer accepted on a house in Sheffield.
Henry is sleeping and feeding well (6.8kg now), enjoying his feet very much, and giving us the occassional giggle.
Weβd love to hear what you have been up to!
Lots of love,
Sam, Emily, Henry & Meg
